Day 01: Leh
Leh can easily be reached by flight or road and the regular services from Delhi, Jammu, Srinagar, and Chandigarh are available. Choose any of the services to arrive Leh where our representatives will be waiting for you.
Day 02: Leh (Visit Shey + Thikse + Hemis Monasteries)
Today you will visit some of the renowned monasteries of Ladakh such as Shey, Thikse and Hemis.
Shey: This is a wonderful monastery built by King Deldon Namgyal in the memory of his father Singay Namgyal. Inside the monastery you will see a huge statue of Buddha Shalyamuni which is the second largest statue of Buddha in Ladakh made up of copper sheets, decorated with gold.
Thicksey monastery: An outstanding example of Ladakhi architecture, it is positioned at a distance of 18 km from Leh.
Hemis Monastery: Hemis monastery or gompa was established in 1620 by Lama Tagstang Raspa. It was later built by Palden Sara under the patronage of King Singe Namgyal and is located at about 50 km from the Leh city.
Day 3: Leh – Khardungla – Leh
Have breakfast and get ready to visit the Khardungla pass which is the highest motorable pass in the world (5600 m).
Day 04: Leh – Delhi
Have a relaxing breakfast in the hotel room and then check your luggage. Finally transfer in time to the airport to leave for Delhi to continue your onward journey as this tour ends here.
